a brand born from the passion and purpose of twin sisters, Candy and Sandy. Raised in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, we are dedicated to innovation, inclusion, and individuality.

Our journey began over a decade ago when Candy, an Occupational Therapist with nearly 30 years of experience, saw the need for stylish, functional adaptive clothing. Witnessing her clients' struggles, she knew change was necessary. At the same time, Sandy, a seasoned piano teacher with a Parsons School of Design degree, shared the vision to create something extraordinary—EQL Threads was born.At EQL Threads, we believe clothing is more than fabric—it’s an expression of who you are. We design modern adaptive wear that blends style, comfort, and functionality, featuring discreet zippers, velcro, and magnets for ease and accessibility. Our luxuriously soft, breathable fabrics ensure each garment feels and fits beautifully.
