It started with Candy’s patients.
Candy is an occupational therapist. In her work, she saw how often getting dressed stood between her patients and their independence. The clothing to solve it barely existed. So she partnered with Sandy to create the solution.
Learning as they went.
Neither had run a clothing company before. Finding manufacturers, working through contracts, and building everything behind the scenes took time. They kept going, with the people they were designing for in mind.
Getting dressed shouldn't be the hardest part of your day.
That idea started EQL, and it still shapes every piece we make.
